Harris Tweed
Harris Tweed is a world-renowned handwoven cloth, produced exclusively in the Outer Hebrides of Scotland. For centuries, islanders spun and wove the hardy wool by hand in their homes, creating cloth well suited to the harsh climate. In 1846, Lady Dunmore, widow of the Earl of Dunmore, championed the fabric and helped it gain wider recognition. Its reputation grew through the 19th and 20th centuries, becoming synonymous with durability, warmth, and timeless style. Today, every length of Harris Tweed is still handwoven by skilled artisans in their homes, protected by the Harris Tweed Act of Parliament of 1993 and bearing the famous Orb certification mark as a guarantee of authenticity.

Black Watch Tartan
The Black Watch tartan, also known as the Government sett, dates back to the early 18th century. It was first worn by the Black Watch regiment—formed to police the Scottish Highlands after the Jacobite uprisings—making it one of the oldest and most enduring military tartans. Its deep green and navy tones are linked with strength, duty, and tradition, and today it is worn by both men and women as a universal, non-clan tartan.
